Pangea Insect Grub (PIG) is a nutrient dense gut load diet for feeder insects.  Can be fed dry, moistened, or as a prepared gel. PIG is a delicious blend of grains, real fruit, vitamins, and minerals that feeder insects love. Our crickets and roaches absolutely devour this stuff, and it’s our favorite gutload to use the day before we feed our buggies off so they’re nice and plump for our geckos. 

To feed Dry: Place dry powder in a shallow dish and offer to insects. When feeding dry, it’s important to also provide an adequate water source like our Water Gel Crystals

To make a moistened Paste: Slowly add water to powder, blending with a fork or whisk as you go until desired consistency is reached. We’ve had great results when mixing to a consistency similar to cookie dough. To serve, spoon paste into bowl, roll into balls, or form into small cookie-like pucks and feed to insects.

To make a Gel: Bring 3 parts Water to a boil and mix in 1 part Powder. Stir for 20 seconds. Some clumping is normal.  Pour into a tray or baking dish.  Allow to cool to room temperature.  Cut Gel to desired size and feed to your insects. Store unused gel in refrigerator for short term storage. This item is perishable.
