Give your terrarium a natural appearance with these sturdy seed pods.  They make great hiding places for baby geckos, micro geckos, dart frogs, jumping spiders, and other small creatures.  Clamshell pods are a favorite gathering spot for our isopods and our springtails seem particularly attracted to them as well, often collecting in large numbers on the undersides of the pod.  They seem to promote colony growth with the springtails.  These pods are very hard…much like a walnut shell, which makes them long-lasting.

Pods average about 2″ – 3″ and may or may not have stem attached.  They are sold in packs of 2 and may be received as 2 separate pods or 2 pods connected on a single stem.  Clamshell Pods are a natural product and will vary in size, shape, and color.  Photos here are a good representation of what the pods you receive may look like, but may not necessarily be the exact pods you’ll receive.
