**09/2024 – Wowee!  We took some kind of crazy break there, didn’t we?  Whelp, we can thank Mother Nature for that!  This past year was wild.  We went straight from wicked summer heat, smack into one of the worst rainstorms SoCal has ever experienced.  There were more than a few times we were on evacuation alert.  We lost part of our roof, a good chunk of our deck, road floods had us locked in….y’all it go so wet over here that MUSHROOMS STARTED GROWING ON OUR HOUSE!!!  And I had just seen Last Of Us, so that’s didn’t give me a major freakout or anything haha!  I’m out there on a ladder in the middle of a hailstorm scraping them off shouting “Not today, cordyceps!” into the wind!!  And then when the months of rain finally passed and we were able to gather ourselves and assess all the damages and whatnot…Boom…we’re right back into wicked summer heat.  We just could not catch a break.  We’ve still very much been here though, and while we weren’t able to open up for shipping, we’ve been quite active in the local expo scene.  All of the gecko still listed in this section have sold some time ago.  I’m really just leaving these up as placeholders for geckos we plan to add very soon.  Now, in mid September, we are finally cooling down enough to take the geckos back outside.  Photo shoots will begin soon, and we’re looking forward to sharing new beauties and offering them nation-wide once again.  So get ready for lots of new faces…and lots of new products too!  We have some really big changes in the works leading into 2025.  We can’t wait to share them with you!

*7/11/23 – Shipping is now closed for Summer.  We will likely resume shipping in Sept/Oct, depending on weather.  Pick up is still available for Los Angeles locals – please send a message through the contact form on this site to arrange a local pick up.  Because our Summer heat can last well into the winter cold of other states, we do not offer summer holds (since the potential exists that our shipping window may be closed to some areas for the better part of a year).  Check out on the website will be closed for live animal sales for the moment just to ensure no accidental purchases are made from out of state.  LA locals, just message us about any gecko you are interested in and we will either temporarily open online check out or arrange for payment off-site.  Thanks.

There’s something about bold white-tipped crests that get me every time, and even better when that’s paired with busy pattern.  This is exactly what I’ve come to expect from productions in the Lotus family group, and I absolutely love it.  Kochise has it all.  Great color, great contrast, great structure, great pattern, great build.  This fella is just great.  He’s great when it comes to all things…except taking a great picture.  To be fair, that’s totally the fault of my camera and camera skills, and not at all Kochise’s blame.  His cream colored pattern is so light and bright…its pretty much as close as you can get to bright white without actually being bright white.  His orange tones are really rich and warm, while his icy gray base coloration is cool and soft.  The camera can’t seem to pick up all the correct tones at once.  So we’re either getting shots that show that light bright pattern true but the other colors deeper and warmer than what the eye sees, or we’re getting shots that really show off that light icy gray base but then the rest of the colors in the shot are yellowed out.  Kochise isn’t really a fan of picture day, so I’m going to respect his boundaries  and say at this point I think we got what we’re going to get.   The photos you see here are the result of a couple different photo shoots.  I do think we got some really nice pictures, but I’m still left saying that old line – pictures don’t do him justice and he is so much better in person.

Shipping for Geckos is always FREE within the US lower 48 when held at a FedEx Hub for pickup.  Shipping to your door may require an additional fee.  See our Terms section for full details.  Local pick up in Los Angeles is always welcome.  If you  would like to pick your gecko up in person, please contact us to schedule a time and date.

Shipping is open now, and temperatures on our end should remain within the safe range through June.  Remember that temperatures must be in the safe range (40°- 85° F) at the stop over and destination locations as well, so if your buns are toasting, chances are we won’t be able to ship your gecko out to you right away.  Summers can get very hot here, so its possible we’ll be closing sometime in June and won’t reopen til next Autumn.  Sometimes our temperatures allow us to do some limited shipping throughout the summer months.  Each year we just have to play it by ear.  So please keep that in mind when ordering, and understand that if you are not able to receive your package right away, our summer closures may result in your animal being held here until its safe to ship in the Autumn months.
